Job Summary
 
 
  • The successful candidate will work with the Head of Corporate Communications & PR to develop and execute external communications strategies and to organize media coverage of the company’s activities to support the Company’s plans. Apart from this, the successful candidate will be responsible for:-

  • Deploying quality solutions that meet the stated expectations of the clients and the company.

  • Continuing to study and learn the technology that the enterprise security company deploys.

  • Manage small/medium/large size projects through all stages of the project lifecycle from concept through scoping, planning, execution and closeout.

  • Drive operational efficiency, best practice and cost effectiveness through process review and re-engineering.

  • Complete cost benefit analysis and present a clear business case to support proposed solutions.

  • Negotiate for necessary resources to plan and complete projects.

  • Manage issues and risks and escalate when necessary to achieve resolution.

  • Ensures all relevant project management deliverables are produced to a high standard, including: Project Charter, Business Requirements Documents, Operational Processes and Systems Specifications, Project Schedule, Issues/Risk Log, Status Reports, Budget, Project Post Mortem and Transition Plan.

Work with local & regional network providers on project related & infrastructure requirements.

  • Meet with existing & future providers of facilities & services to ensure best quality of service.

  • Work with local authorities & government agencies on projects they may pass under their remit.

  • Scope focuses on the execution of medium/large-sized projects with varied complexity/risk. Effective management of multiple complex projects.

  • Works effectively with minimal supervision to agreed guidelines and procedures. Participates in development of project strategy. Defines and agrees project budget with Senior Management.

  • Manages project communications, presents material to management as appropriate. Organizes regular team meetings and Steering Committee meetings

  • Manage a cross-functional team for the duration of the project. May be responsible for direct supervision of staff.

  • Provide feedback on performance of team members to direct managers. Mentor and support team members on project methodologies.

  • To undertake and complete any other assignment that may be assigned to you by the management from time to time.
 
 
     
 
Requirements
 
 
-
  • A Bachelor Degree in IT fields or its equivalent with at least two (2) years full-time experience as a Project Manager.
-
  • Proven ability to lead and co-ordinate multi-skilled teams, including customer, third party, and technical people.
-
  • Experience managing virtual project teams globally.
-
  • Experience in structured Project Management methodology such as Prince II or PMBOK
-
  • Accent on ability to plan, manage risk and assess complex situations.
-
  • Practical ‘hands on’ experience of IT projects, knowledge of the techniques, sensitivities and issues that arise.
-
  • Knowledge of IT development process and IT technologies.
-
  • Ability to develop well structured presentations with informative and well presented information appropriate for the desired audience.

  • Experience using Microsoft Project and/or similar planning tool
